BRICS Social Sciences and Humanities Research Forum
On November 26-28, 2025 BRICS Social Sciences and Humanities Research Forum was held in Sochi as part of the 5th Congress of Young Scientists.
The Congress is an annual business, exhibition, and communication platform for the international scientific community established by Vladimir Putin in 2021.
It brings together prominent leaders of science, members of leading scientific schools from different regions of Russia, scientific and educational organizations, government bodies, industrial partners, representatives of business and state corporations, and most importantly, young scientists. Participants of the Young Scientists Congress are traditionally given the opportunity to meet with the President.
At the Forum, the participants discussed development of social and humanitarian sciences in the BRICS Countries, prospective directions of cooperation and integration.
IOS RAS Deputy Director, Head of CAIS Prof. Kuznetsov took part in the Forum. He presented a plenary paper at the opening of the Forum, moderated the session “Social Sciences and Humanities in the BRICS Countries: The Landscape” and delivered concluding remarks.
