10th National Academic and Practical Conference “Fahreddin Readings. Role of Spiritual Leaders in the Education and Moral Instruction of Society”
On December 2-4, 2024, the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Russian Federation held the 10th National Academic and Practical Conference “Fahreddin Readings. Role of Spiritual Leaders in the Education and Moral Instruction of Society”, attended by CAIS Senior Research Fellow Dr. Islam Zaripov.
The 10th National Academic and Practical Conference “Fahreddin Readings. Role of Spiritual Leaders in the Education and Moral Instruction of Society”, dedicated to the 165th anniversary of Mufti Rizaeddin Fahreddin, was held on December 2-4, 2024 in the Conference Hall of the Moscow Cathedral Mosque. The Conference was organized by the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Russian Federation, Moscow Islamic Institute and Fund for Support of Islamic Culture, Science and Education. Numerous scholars and educators from centers for Oriental and Islamic Studies, Muslim theologists and religious leaders took part in the event.
CAIS Senior Research Fellow Islam Zaripov presented his paper “R. Fahreddin’s Jawami‘ Al-Kalim Sharhe as a Manifesto of Jadidist Ethics” at the plenary session.
