IOS RAS Researchers on a Work Trip to Tehran

 
On December 1-7, 2024, Dr. Lana Ravandi-Fadai and Mehrubon Ashurov visited Tehran, Islamic Republic of Iran, as part of a work trip.

On December 1-7, 2024, Head of the Eastern Cultural Center IOS RAS, Senior Researcher of the Central Eurasia Research Center  IOS RAS Dr. Lana Ravandi-Fadai and Assistant Researcher of the Laboratory for Study of Contemporary Central Asia and the Caucasus Mehrubon Ashurov visited Tehran as part of a work trip.

They had several official meetings both with authoritative experts and analytics at the Institute for Political and International Studies (IPIS) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran and professors, educators and students of the country’s leading universities (University of Tehran, Shahid Beheshti University and Imam Sadiq University)

The agenda included a discussion on Russian-Iranian relations and prospects of cooperation in various fields, including science and technology. Researchers at CAIS and other departments of IOS RAS take part in a project dedicated to these issues.
