The Russian academic community was represented by experts from CAIS (Dr. Vasily Kuznetsov, Prof. Boris Dolgov, Dr. Zoya Solovyeva, Anastasia Vasilenko) and the Primakov Center. For the Tunisian part, Prof. Mohamed Kerrou, a notable expert in Political Sciences from the Tunis El Manar University, took part in the discussion alongside a number of his colleagues. Moreover, the expert group from The National Institute of Strategic Global Studies (Algeria), headed by Director General Prof. Abdelaziz Medjahed, also participated in the workshop.

 

The workshop was dedicated to a wide range of issues related to the development of political process in Tunisia. The discussion revolved around the roots of current dynamics of the country's political development, key parameters of the new social contract and prospects of Tunisian foreign policy transformation in the conditions of shifts in internal, regional and global politics.
